As of why we haven’t placed any more bases on Taiwan, it is because the PRC does not approve of placing bases there without consent, as it considers Taiwan to be PRC land, and the modern ROC to be illegitimate and therefor cannot represent China. Still though, one day, I hope we can restore the USTDC.
